Monday night’s Powerball jackpot is the seventh largest in the game’s history and one of the largest of 2025. The estimated grand prize for the Dec. 8 drawing is worth $875 million with a cash option of $403.6 million. MLive will provide results of the drawing shortly after it takes place at 11 p.m. EST.
The two Bay Area players who won prizes of more than $1 million during August’s Powerball frenzy have come forward, the California Lottery said. Each won $1.165 million for picking five numbers, missing only the Powerball number, in the Aug. 30 draw. The jackpot then was $1 billion.
